What's your favorite appetizer to order at a restaurant?
At the Taphouse Grill across the street from work, I love their explodey cheese. It's actually called "Volcano Goat Cheese", but when I read "Volcano", I think "Explodey". It comes in a spicy tomato sauce, with toasted bread.
Now, I'm hungry!
I have a severe battery problem. I can never keep them charged. I always forget to plug them in. This is part of the reason I have three cell phones -- the likelihood that I'll have one operational when I need it is higher. It's an interesting problem, since I'm such a gadget girl. Often, my gadgets are out of power.
The other night, he looked over at the nightstand and said, "Battery problem: solved."
Went to Vancouver for the day on Saturday, with my Mum. We stopped at Pacific Centre, as well as Tim Horton's. Yum, junk food.
She did manage to get us pulled over at the border on the way back though. She insisted they were just bored, though, and they wanted to train the girl at the counter. It didn't take too long, though, and then we were back on our way.
For all the time I spent in Canada growing up, I don't really have many memories of it being sunny. Ever. I'm convinced it never is.
I played in a poker tournament at someone's house. I placed sixth. Not bad for a person that doesn't know what hand beats what over a set. I probably could have done better, but I was tired, bored, and grumpy, then decided I just wanted to go home. I went all in with Ace/4 off suit, or something similarly retarded. Someone called with Ace/Jack, I think, and I got to go home. I couldn't leave fast enough. Men, they get so annoying when they're losing to a girl.
And I completed Crackdown on "tough". Yay for that!
The last few days I've been working on an AMV for The Echoing Green's "Suffer". They're having a contest, and I figured it was a good excuse for me to try the AMV thing again and hopfully finish it. I'd previously only tried it once before and only got about 10 seconds finished. This time, I've managed to get about a minute and twenty seconds done so far, but it's due tomorrow. It's mostly just time consuming to cut the video up into smaller pieces and then find the shots you want to use. Whew.
In related news, I love music and gadgets. (That's the only explanation I have for the picture.)
Played pool with HFMSM and a coworker yesterday evening, and brought the camera to play with some of the settings. Color accent mode is a lot of fun, as it takes all the work out of it. No photoshop required.
A lot of life seems like high school lately. On ship party day, it was a lot of reminiscing and had the same feeling as graduation day, even though we'll all return to work on Monday. Over the next few weeks the fallout will begin to show though, as there were no less then four "moving on" emails on Friday, and about one a day for the rest of the week.
Life shouldn't cycle like this.

The first part was where Abbey from NCIS was apart of the CSI team and the central point of the dream.
The second part (after the dog woke me up), Rose McGowan from Charmed was apart of NCIS.
